Announcing the sad death of Shirley Hancock

It is with sadness that we announce the death of our member, Shirley Hancock, who died on Wednesday morning.
Shirley was a long standing member of our bridge club, with over 40 years membership. Her contribution and influence were immense: She was Senior TD for many years, which she fulfillled with a quiet authority, great skill and superb knowledge. She was always supportive to new TDs and was responsible for some of them performing the task to this day. IN addition she was influential in organising all of the internal competitions.
Although Shirley has not been able to attend the club in recent years, she will be very sadly missed.
